What To Wear To Rolling Loud LA

Who’s going to Rolling Loud LA?

The Rolling Loud weekend-long festival is known as one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the world. And it’s THE PLACE to be for hip-hop culture and fashion.

Since Rolling Loud LA is coming up shortly… (this year it runs from March 3-5), let’s talk about how to plan the perfect outfit.

We want to make sure you keep these 3 things in mind when planning your outfit:

  1. Firstly, make sure you’re wearing layers so you’re dressed for hot weather during the day and cold at night.
  2. Secondly, combine streetwear, and athleisure so you’re comfortable and feel good in what you have on.
  3. Lastly, keep in mind that you might never wear this outfit again. Yes, that’s right, you might ruin your clothes at the festival. Given that there are festival situations that can do your clothes in (believe us, there are situations), be prepared to say goodbye to whatever you’re wearing after the festival is over. Wear nothing that matters to you or that you know may only be worn once.

Ok and here are some clothing combinations that would work and that fit our outfit guidelines:

  • a tracksuit and t-shirt
  • a sweatsuit and crop-top
  • a windbreaker and comfy pants duo
  • some bike shorts, and a t-shirt with a heavier jacket, hoodie, or fleece

And for shoes…

Wear your favorite sports shoes. But if you’re choosing white Adidas Sambas or Converse (anything with white), know that they will never be that white again.

Anyway, you’ll have a wonderful time. And choosing a well-thought-out and purposeful outfit is going to make all the difference.

Bonus: here are a few additional things to consider about bags, accessories, and hydration:

  1. Remember your Rolling Loud wristband: make sure to put it on the day of the show (and not before). Seriously, if you put it on you’ll be wearing it to the day of the show.
  2. Remember there’s a clear bag policy: your bag needs to be clear, see details about this here.
  3. Remember to bring a hydration pack (clear) or water bottle.
  4. Bring a bandana or face mask to keep dust from going into your mouth and throat
